We support hospitals in 3 core areas. Our goal is to receive services from the health insurance companies and to support hospitals in acting legally compliant.

Revenue Management

Constantly changing regulations and dynamic variability in the auditing behavior of payers pose challenges for medical controlling and financial planning at hospitals.

We develop concepts for strategic revenue protection, on the basis of which we realize outstanding receivables from payers in a cost-efficient manner and prevent liquidity outflows. In addition to the realization of old receivables, one focus of our activities currently lies in the support and implementation of discussion procedures in accordance with the new review procedure agreement. The workflow we have agreed with our clients prevents revenue losses at an early stage and protects hospitals from the wave of passive lawsuits currently building up. We pursue a workflow-optimized approach to minimize administrative efforts also on the part of our customers. We continuously use the knowledge gained from all stages of revenue assurance to make the entire billing process legally compliant, from primary coding and the MD process to legal enforcement.

Compliance in the healthcare sector

Due to increasingly detailed legal frameworks, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure legal compliance within the complex operational organizational structures of hospitals in particular.

Our team supports the establishment of compliant processes, far-reaching compliance investigations and - in the event of intentional or negligent breaches of duty - the investigation and enforcement of any claims for compensation. Our approach incorporates technical solutions from other Eagle services, such as eDiscovery (technology-based fact-finding), to ensure cost-efficiency and the fastest possible results.

Legal Service Outsourcing in Hospitals

Increasingly dynamic regulatory changes also place increasing demands on the legal departments of hospitals, especially when practical solutions need to be found quickly and endangered legal positions need to be secured.

Our interdisciplinary team provides short-term support for all issues arising from day-to-day hospital operations and, thanks to our extensive expertise in the overarching "legal tech" field, also offers the possibility of fully or partially externalizing legal department services and operational processes. This is particularly the case when the capacity limits of our clients have been reached and cannot be adequately adapted, for example, due to a shortage of specialists.
